Our weekly meetings provide members the opportunity to learn about the Accounting profession and meet representatives from prominent industry firms. These firms present on a variety of important accounting topics, and teach our members about their companies. In this informal setting, our members can network with these professionals and foster connections that last long into their careers.
Every year, Beta Alpha Psi hosts a Career Fair and give the students the opportunity to meet professionals from different firms
Throughout the semester our chapter engages in community service events. We participate in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, Junior Acheivement, projects with the CTCPA, and the UConn School of Business. Each year, our chapter participates in VITA, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program with the IRS. Through hundreds of hours of community service, our chapter helps complete the tax returns of the international students of UConn.
